kDell, an acclaimed manufacturer of displays, laptops and other consumer electronics, announces the start of sales of its newest PC monitor, codenamed E2214H. The model features 22-inch display and is based on TN panel type with hard coating. The latter ensures the 1920x1080 Full HD output resolution and quite speedy array response time – 5 ms. Additionally, the product is equipped with a rear LED that stays on the guard of power consumption.

The new-comer boasts 396.7x513.2x165.5 mm dimensions and 16:9 aspect ratio. The rear I/O panel consists of one D-Sub port and one DVI-D with HDCP support. This model is differentiated by its power-saving nature; hence, usually it consumes approximately 19W of power, at the maximal load – not more than 30W, and in standby mode – 0.5W.

To continue, the display is peculiar by the maximal brightness of 250 cd/m2, static contrast of 1000:1, and wide viewing angles – 170/160 degrees in vertical/horizontal aspects correspondingly. According to the claimed specs, the monitor features 84% color gamma in CIE 1976 environment and is able to display up to 16.7 million tints.

The incorporated stand allows for the screen tilt only. The monitor can be utilized without the stand thanks to the availability of a dedicated VESA bracket. The nominal delivery set includes user’s manual, setup guide, stand base and riser, power cable, DVI and VGA cables, as well as VESA screw cover. As a special offer, the users are free to acquire an additional soundbar Dell SoundBar (codename AC511).

The Price of Dell E2214H

The E2214H is already available in the Japanese market for a recommended price of about $170.
