Hardware Features Description:Thirst for innovative visual technologies made Samsung develop another curved monitor – the S29E790C. The 29-inch item is based on MVA panel that is characterized by 2560x1080 resolution (Wide FHD) and 21:9 aspect ratio. The model is available in two color variations (black and silver) to perfectly match hi-tech environment. Release and price info is currently unknown.
Samsung S29E790C is able to ensure 100% of sRGB color gamut, 4 ms response time, the widest viewing angles (178/178 degrees), 300 cd/m2 brightness, 8-bit 16.7 million of displayed colors, and 60 Hz refresh time. The monitor is peculiar by an increased index of static contrast (3000:1) which might be raised dynamically due to the integration of Mega DCR system.
The curvature of the display makes up 3000R. The implemented T-shape stand features curved framework as well; it allows changing the height and tilt of the screen. There is a possibility to use the display without the stand, thanks to VESA bracket. The rear part of the monitor is equipped with two video interfaces (HDMI and VGA).
Similar to other advanced solutions, the S29E790C supports a range of valuable technologies, including Flicker Free, Eye Saver Mode, Game Mode, P-in-P 2.0, P-by-P, MagicBright, Image Size, Off Timer, Sound Mode, and Eco Saving Plus.
